Our study tours give school students the chance to learn in another country, experience a different culture and make friends across borders.
We work with schools and families to plan each program. Programs run in both directions: students from overseas coming to Australia, and Australian students travelling overseas.
Coming to Australia
We bring groups of students from China to Australia for short-term study programs. Students spend time in Australian schools, live with host families or in supervised accommodation, and experience everyday life and culture in Australia.
Travelling overseas
We also take groups of Australian students overseas, giving them the opportunity to experience another education system, language and culture first-hand.
What a program can include
Short-term study
Structured learning over a period of days or weeks, designed around the students' age, interests and school program.
School placements
Students join classes at a host school, taking part in lessons and school life alongside local students.
Student-buddy programs
Each visiting student is paired with a local student, who helps them settle in, practise their language skills and understand daily life at school and beyond.
Student welfare
Many of the students on our programs are young people travelling away from home, often for the first time. Their safety and wellbeing come first.
Everyone who works with students on our behalf is screened. Every program has a supervision plan, and families can reach a responsible GlobalEN contact at any time during a program.
