We only collect personal information we need to deliver our services and run our business. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:

• If you contact us: your name, email address and anything you include in your message.
• Study Tours and Innovation Tours participants: name, date of birth, contact details, passport and travel details, school or organisation, emergency contacts, and dietary, medical or accessibility requirements.
• Students under 18: the details above, plus parent or carer details and consents. We collect this from the student's parent or carer, or their school.
• Homestay hosts: contact details, household information and screening information, such as Working with Children Check details.
• Mobility & Support clients: contact details, support needs and relevant health or disability information, and funding or plan details where relevant.
• Staff, contractors and volunteers: employment and screening information.

Some of this is sensitive information, such as health information. We only collect sensitive information with consent, or where the law allows it, and we take extra care with it.

We use personal information to:

• respond to enquiries
• plan, deliver and manage our programs and services
• keep participants safe, including in an emergency
• arrange travel, accommodation, school placements and activities
• meet our legal, insurance and child safety obligations
• manage invoicing, payments and our business records

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We only share personal information when it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or when the law requires or allows it. This may include:

• schools, host families and education partners involved in a program
• travel, accommodation, transport and activity providers
• insurers
• funding bodies and plan managers, for Mobility & Support services
• professional advisers and service providers who support our business, such as IT, email and accounting providers
• government agencies, police or child protection authorities, where required by law or to protect someone's safety

This website does not use analytics, tracking cookies or advertising tools. Like all websites, our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to keep the site running.

If you email us, we keep your email and our reply so we can respond and keep a record.

We store personal information securely, electronically and in paper form, and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure. Access is limited to people who need it.

When we no longer need personal information, and are not required by law to keep it, we securely destroy or de-identify it.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days. In limited cases the law allows us to refuse access; if so, we will explain why.

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please email us first. We will look into it and respond, usually within 30 days.
